Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our fantastic Workplace Drug Testing (WDT) Sales team based out of our Midlands site in Tamworth. If you are passionate about a rewarding career in Forensic testing and want to use your expertise to its full potential, then this is a great opportunity to join a well-established and successful market leading company with over 30 years’ experience in providing Forensic Services to the Police forces of England and Wales, as well as other commercial organisations and public sector bodies.

This is a truly exciting time to begin or continue your career with our first-class business, as a Sales Manager, you will establish, plan and implement strategies for the development and delivery of all sales activities in alignment with the Business Line strategy in Eurofins- Workplace drug testing Sector.


Important Information

Due to the sensitive nature of our work, this role will require the successful candidate to achieve NPPV3 + Security Clearance (SC). To be eligible, you must have 5 years’ continuous UK residency.

As part of the vetting process, you’ll be asked to provide information about your background, including your employment and address history, financial circumstances and details of close family or partners. These checks are carried out to ensure individuals accessing police data, systems and sites are trustworthy and suitable for the role.

Factors such as criminal convictions, financial difficulties or associations that may pose a risk could affect your ability to gain clearance. However, each application is assessed on an individual basis, and honesty throughout the process is essential.

Please note:

  • Vetting is carried out by external police vetting service
  • Drug and alcohol testing may be required before you start and during your employment
  • Ongoing employment is subject to maintaining the required level of clearance

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base with the objective to double in size within 4 years whilst also meeting agreed EBIT growth objectives, along with achieving growth and meeting sales targets by successfully managing sales executives and by assessing the teams’ strengths and weaknesses.

You will also be accountable for establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Manage staff in accordance with organisational policies and applicable regulations. Provide line management to team members, address training and development needs, evaluate performance and provide appraisal.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who has Extensive knowledge of the workplace drug testing market, who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and possesses the competence and team spirit to support others and contribute to a positive culture. Here at EFS integrity and customer focus is at the heart of everything we do, being driven to exceed customer expectations, and promotes the voice of the customer would be a distinct advantage and will see you excel in this role.

If you have experience of people management in sales roles and a demonstratable track record of sales growth and commercial acumen in B2B market, then we would love to hear from you.

Due to the nature of the work we undertake on our EFS Midlands site, for employees based at EFS Midlands or likely to attend EFS Midlands as part of their role you must inform us if you come into contact with any firearms or ammunition through work or any other reason as there will be precautions you will need to take in order to enter the premises.
