About the Company
Ark is recruiting for a leading exhibitions organisation that’s behind some of the country’s most recognised and award-winning exhibitions and live experiences. They’re now seeking a Commercial Manager to lead revenue growth across one of their flagship portfolios, in the consumer space. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, strategic sales leader to shape partnerships, drive growth, and deliver an exceptional event experience.
The Role
As Commercial Manager, you’ll take ownership of revenue for a key event in their consumer portfolio, driving both new business and account development. You’ll develop creative partnerships, brand activations, and bespoke sponsorship opportunities that elevate the event’s value proposition and commercial success.
Working closely with the Portfolio Director and cross-functional teams, you’ll support the commercial strategy from concept to delivery, ensuring every exhibitor, sponsor, and feature partner achieves their objectives while contributing to the show’s continued success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
