Job Description
This role will be based in London.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our Talent Solutions Academic, Not-for-Profit and Government team.
This is a front-line sales leadership role within a high-performing business that carries significant growth ambitions. This is a diverse portfolio in both sector and sales motion, and it needs a versatile leader.

Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of Account Directors responsible for growing and retaining existing customers; cross-selling new solutions, and net new business acquisition.
- Run a strong renewal engine through Value Reviews, executive sponsorship, churn mitigation and smart pricing strategies.
- Accurately forecast recurring revenue pipeline alongside incremental bookings, with rigorous deal control and inspection.
- Provide sales mentorship and coaching that elevates the team's ability to win.
- Engage with procurement, compliance and senior public-sector stakeholders with confidence, and navigate the vertical nuances of a diverse portfolio.
- Collaborate on and develop external partnerships and frameworks to the sectors.
- Act as a thought partner to the Head of ANG and to cross-functional partners, challenging how the business can grow bigger and faster.
- Develop and circulate the best practices that serve as the foundation for a high-performing team.
- Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with cross-functional teams.
- Role model AI-embedded sales discipline and fluency in our key tools and methodologies, including Cowork, Gong, and MEDDPICC.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of people leadership experience managing a mid-to-large sized team, with high engagement and performance outcomes.
- Mission motivation and alignment: we are Trusted Advisors for the Public Good.
- Sales experience defending and growing a base through delivering value, with proven ability to install a renewal engine.
- Sales discipline and rigour, including forecasting and deal control.
- High-trust leadership and coaching skillset.
- Resilience and composure built through fast-paced environments.
- AI-embedded sales discipline and fluency in our key tools and methodologies, preferably Cowork, MEDDPICC and Gong.
- Experience in hunting and new business acquisition.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial fluency in regulated industries such as Academic & Government.
- Direct HR technology experience in hiring and/or learning.
- Experience leading a team through reorganisation or transition.
- Experience navigating a complex multi-stakeholder internal environment.
