Sales Manager – AEC Transport Practice

Location: Home-Based, UK

Travel: Regular travel to customer sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays

Salary: Competitive salary + generous annual bonus (circa 20%) + car allowance

We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our AEC & Transport Practice, leading business growth across the Airports and Ports sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading GIS technology, build strategic customer relationships and help organisations solve complex challenges through location intelligence.

As our Sales Manager, you will:

  • Drive new software sales across the Airports and Ports sectors.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that identify new opportunities and accelerate business growth.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, becoming their strategic advisor on the value of GIS technology.
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate and successfully close complex sales opportunities.
  • Create Customer Success Plans that maximise customer value and long-term adoption of Esri technology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Esri's partner network.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting through to contract completion.
  • Develop strategic account plans that support sustainable growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Work closely with Sales Development Representatives to generate opportunities and expand pipeline activity.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Project Managers and wider business teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.

This would be a great career move if you:

  • Have a proven track record of winning new business and delivering sustainable sales growth.
  • Have experience in Enterprise Software Sales, Account Management or Customer Success.
  • Have experience working with customers within the Airports, Ports or wider Transport sectors (highly desirable).
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Take a consultative approach by understanding customer challenges and recommending the right solutions.
  • Have an understanding of GIS technology or the ability to quickly learn how location intelligence delivers business value.
