Sales Manager

Location: Cheltenham – Hybrid
Employment: Permanent
Salary: Up to £75k basic + uncapped commission
Benefits: Competitive package + opportunity to build and lead a sales function

Our client, a growing Managed Service Provider, is hiring a Sales Manager to establish, develop and lead its sales function.

This is a newly created role and a key appointment for the business. As the first dedicated sales leader, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the sales strategy, build the commercial engine and ultimately develop a high-performing sales team around you.

Initially, this will be a hands-on sales role. You’ll take ownership of new business development, build pipeline and win new customers, while putting the processes, structure and strategy in place to support future growth.

As the business scales, you’ll recruit and lead the sales team, transitioning from an individual contributor into a broader sales leadership position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
