Our client is a global provider of sustainable process technologies focused on helping customers recover, extract and generate valuable resources while reducing their carbon and energy footprint. The business provides advanced biogas upgrading and CO₂ technologies, helping customers convert biogas into valuable revenue streams including biomethane and recovered CO₂. Its technologies are deployed across a wide range of industries and international markets, supporting the transition towards cleaner energy and more sustainable industrial processes. As part of its continued growth across the UK and Ireland, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Representative – Biogas Upgrading & CO₂ Liquefaction.
The Opportunity
As Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing the company's business across the UK and Ireland, with a particular focus on biogas upgrading, biomethane and CO₂ liquefaction technologies.
You will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with existing customers and expand the company's position within the rapidly developing renewable gas market.
Working closely with technical and technology specialists, you will develop commercially and technically compelling solutions that address customer requirements and convert opportunities into profitable orders. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed annual sales targets across the biogas upgrading and CO₂ technology portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage opportunities through the company's CRM system.
- Drive growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Identify and develop opportunities across the anaerobic digestion, biogas, biomethane, renewable gas, wastewater, agricultural and food & beverage sectors.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with wider business growth objectives.
- Build strong relationships with developers, EPC contractors, consultants, operators, utilities and other strategic industry stakeholders.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and develop new customer relationships.
- Review customer requirements, RFQs, tender documentation and project specifications to determine appropriate technical solutions.
- Work alongside internal technical, engineering and proposal teams to develop competitive technical and commercial proposals.
- Lead customer presentations, commercial discussions and negotiations through to order closure.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure effective project handover to internal delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Monitor market developments, industry trends and competitor activity, providing market intelligence to senior leadership.
- Provide customer and market feedback to support product development and commercial strategy.
- Represent the business at industry associations, conferences, exhibitions and renewable energy events throughout the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and manage strategic accounts and key customer relationships.
- Identify cross-selling and wider technology opportunities in collaboration with global sales and product teams.
- Travel throughout the UK and Ireland as required, approximately 30–50%.

Reporting Line
Reports to the Global Sales Leader – Biogas.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, technical, environmental, commercial or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, business development or account management.
- Proven experience within biogas, biomethane, anaerobic digestion, renewable gas, wastewater or related process industries.
- Strong understanding of biogas upgrading technologies, renewable gas markets and/or CO₂ technologies.
- Experience selling complex technical solutions into project-based or industrial environments.
- Experience working with developers, EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, operators or industrial end users.
- Strong commercial understanding with proven experience developing opportunities from initial identification through to contract/order.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a field-based sales environment.
- Strong opportunity management and commercial judgement.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting data.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will combine technical credibility with strong commercial sales ability and will have an established network within the renewable gas, biogas, anaerobic digestion or wider process technology markets.
You will be comfortable selling complex capital equipment or process technologies, engaging with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and developing relationships at both operational and senior management level.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious sales professional who wants to take significant ownership of a growing territory and play a key role in expanding the adoption of biogas upgrading and CO₂ technologies across the UK and Ireland.
