Why BEMO?
BEMO is a leading manufacturer of standing seam roof and bespoke facade systems, working with architects and contractors on some of the UK's most demanding and prestigious metal envelope projects. As we grow our presence in Scotland and the North of England, we're looking for a driven sales professional to lead that expansion.
This is a role with real autonomy: you'll build your own territory, work directly with a Sales Director who backs your decisions, and see the direct commercial impact of the relationships you build.
The Role
You'll drive sales growth for BEMO's standing seam roofing range, while also working closely with our Facades BDM on facade-specific opportunities. You'll manage existing partnerships, win new business across contractors and specifiers, deliver CPD seminars, and support architects through the design and specification process. Occasional travel to BEMO's international offices is part of the job.
What You'll Do
- Identify and secure new business across contractors, main contractors, architects, consultants and the wider specification market
- Grow existing customer accounts through regular, proactive engagement
- Build relationships with key decision-makers across the construction industry
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical sales proposals
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, operations, and technical teams
- Represent BEMO at industry exhibitions, networking events, and customer meetings
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
