Your Responsibilities

  • Drive specialty chemical sales across the UK, focusing on the CASE markets (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers)
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners
  • Identify customer needs and deliver tailored product solutions
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Support the implementation of the sales strategy and successful market introduction of new products
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and new business opportunities
  • Represent Connect Chemicals at customer meetings, trade fairs and industry events
  • Support compliance with UK REACH, GB CLP and ISO 9001 requirements

Your Profile

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
  • Proven sales experience in the specialty chemicals industry, ideally within the CASE markets
  • Strong track record in account management, business development and achieving sales targets
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Confident working with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused and able to work independently
  • Structured and organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Office; CRM and ERP knowledge is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
