Job Description

Spherical Search is working with an innovative manufacturer specialising in temperature-controlled packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. The company develops advanced thermal packaging solutions, including temperature-controlled covers and phase change material (PCM) technology, helping customers safely transport temperature-sensitive products across global supply chains. Following significant growth and increased market traction, the business is seeking a commercially driven sales leader to help accelerate expansion within the pharmaceutical and cold chain markets.

What does the role involve?

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow the business across pharmaceutical and life sciences markets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, logistics providers, and supply chain partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts while developing new commercial opportunities
  • Leverage existing industry networks to open doors and create new partnerships
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Work closely with internal teams to support customer requirements and deliver commercial growth
  • Play a key role in shaping the future commercial function as the business continues to scale

Are you the professional we are looking for?

We are looking for a hungry, entrepreneurial commercial professional with experience selling into pharmaceutical, cold chain, packaging, logistics, or related industries.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging, cold chain, 3PL, or temperature-controlled logistics markets
  • Existing network and ability to develop relationships with pharmaceutical customers and industry stakeholders
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and developing new business opportunities
  • Commercially focused with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor while helping shape future growth
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe to meet customers and develop opportunities
  • Based in the UK
