Sales Manager – Construction

Location: Hybrid, 1 day a month in Cheshire office

Salary: £45,000 - £80,000 (dependent upon experience) + bonus + company car + benefits

Term: Permanent

SRG are partnering with a leading polymer material manufacturer in Cheshire, who offer a wide range of products to a variety of industries including construction, marine and CASE amongst others. With UK-based R&D and manufacturing facilities, they have a well-known reputation for success in the market.

Adopting a value-based sales approach, you will travel extensively across the UK & Ireland, regularly meeting customers to continually build, develop and grow customer relationships across construction contractors.

The role will be 80/20 by way of business development, focusing on the construction industry in the UK & Ireland.

Role / Description

  • Identifying, contacting and developing new business using a variety of methods
  • Promoting the company’s range of innovative polyurethane products
  • Growing market presence across the UK & Ireland construction markets
  • Growing existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ultimately look to increase account spend
  • Travelling approximately 1/3 of your time across the UK & Ireland to visit construction sites
  • Generating leads to identify new potential UK industrial construction contractors
  • Keeping abreast of product development & trends in the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Direct experience in consultative and technical sales of products directly to specifiers/architects/contractors in the construction industry
  • Experience with delivering technical presentations on construction products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing, and excited, to travel 1/3 of your time in the UK & Ireland
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer service
