About the role
Above + Beyond is looking for a confident, driven and commercially-minded Sales Manager to join our fast-growing team in our modern, lively office next to London Stansted Airport.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role. You’ll be responsible for managing, mentoring and developing a growing telesales team, while continuing to personally generate revenue and win new business yourself.
You’ll play a key role in driving sales performance across the business, including lead generation, recruitment, training, forecasting, reporting and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the telesales team, providing day-to-day coaching, support and accountability to drive performance.
- Set and manage sales targets, conducting regular 1-to-1s and performance reviews to ensure the team is on track.
- Drive sales performance, identifying skill gaps, implementing training and continuously improving sales processes and strategies.
- Personally generate revenue and win new business, managing your own pipeline alongside leading the wider team.
- Manage CRM and sales reporting, ensuring accurate pipeline management, forecasting and performance tracking.
- Lead and develop lead generation, identifying new opportunities, markets and sectors to grow the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including handling escalated queries and engaging with key decision-makers.
- Support recruitment and team growth, helping to identify, attract and develop high-performing Sales Executives.

Qualifications and experience
- Senior experience as sales manager with experience in a telesales environment.
- Worked within the corporate hospitality, sports and entertainment industry, within a fast paced sales environment.
- Ability to understand short sales cycles in a fast paced and high energy environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has strong sales management experience, ideally within hospitality, events, travel or a similar industry.
- Is a confident communicator and negotiator with an excellent telephone manner.
- Is target-driven, self-motivated and commercially focused, with the ability to consistently generate new business.
- Can lead and motivate a team while maintaining their own sales performance.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is comfortable working to ambitious targets.
- Has strong attention to detail and understands the importance of excellent client service.
- Has experience with lead generation, CRM systems and sales reporting.
- Is passionate about sport, entertainment and delivering exceptional experiences for clients.
