Used Car Sales Manager

£71,800 OTE plus over achievement bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sales team.
  • Maximise direct selling time and sales opportunities.
  • Manage and effectively handle all sales enquiries.
  • Lead, motivate and develop Sales Executives to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Ensure a structured and consistent sales process is followed.
  • Resolve operational and customer-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide coaching and training with particular emphasis on:
    • Prospecting and lead generation
    • Customer follow-up
    • Deal negotiation and closing
    • Time management
  • Establish and maintain effective administrative procedures and sales records.
  • Monitor performance against targets and take appropriate action to drive results.
  • Deliver exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a motor industry sales management role
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and financial understanding

  • A keen eye for detail
  • Sound industry knowledge
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • A passion for customer service excellence
