Job Summary
Axium Global Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager – Design & BIM to drive business development and account management activities across the UK AEC market.
The successful candidate will be UK-based and will focus on developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and growing Axium Global’s presence within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.
This is a hybrid role, involving remote working, client meetings and attendance at Axium’s Worcestershire office as required.
The position is ideal for a proactive and commercially driven professional with experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, preferably within the AEC, MEP, BIM, Engineering or Architectural Services sector.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK AEC market.
- Prospect and engage with Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure and Real Estate organisations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and client meetings through proposal development, negotiations and contract closure.
- Build and maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue objectives.

Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, CXO-level executives and key influencers.
- Act as a key representative of Axium Global during client interactions.
- Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate Design, MEP Engineering, BIM and CAD solutions.
- Develop long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to Axium Global’s UK sales and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans.
- Identify market trends, prospective clients and strategic business opportunities.
- Provide relevant market intelligence and client feedback to leadership.
Collaboration with Delivery & Marketing
- Work closely with Axium’s India-based Design, Engineering and BIM delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams during proposals, presentations and client discussions.
- Collaborate with Marketing on UK-focused campaigns, webinars, networking activities, exhibitions and industry events.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, opportunity and client information within the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and progress updates to leadership.
- Report on business opportunities, risks, client feedback and relevant market developments.
- Track progress against agreed sales and business development targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Account Management or a similar client-facing commercial role.
- Experience within the AEC, MEP, BIM, Architectural, Engineering or Construction Services industry is preferred.
- Understanding of MEP Engineering, BIM, CAD or Design Services would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and progressing opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior decision-makers.

- Flexibility in working hours where required to support client and business needs.
Work Environment
This is a UK-based Hybrid role, combining remote working, client meetings and attendance at Axium’s Worcestershire office as required.

Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive fixed and variable compensation package aligned with qualifications, experience and performance.
