This is a key leadership role within the business, with a major focus on transforming and growing used car performance, alongside maintaining strong new car standards.
If you’re passionate about used cars, margin, stock turn and team performance – and enjoy rolling your sleeves up to make things happen – this role is for you.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the sales department, with a clear priority on improving used vehicle volume, profitability and stock management.
Key Responsibilities Include:

- Maintaining solid new car performance and standards across the Hyundai brand
- Supporting finance penetration, add-ons and overall deal quality
- Creating a positive, professional and high-energy showroom culture

- Confident coach and leader who enjoys developing people
- Calm, organised and process-driven, but commercially aggressive when needed
- Hyundai experience is an advantage, but not essential

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
