StackAdapt is a remote-first company, though our Sales teams are regionalized. For this role, we are prioritizing candidates located in London, UK or surrounding areas.
The Role: Sales Manager, Vertical Sales
The Sales Manager, Vertical Sales is a hunter-focused role responsible for driving new programmatic advertising revenue with in-house marketing teams and brands across the eCommerce vertical. Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll focus on building relationships with brand-direct advertisers, generating new business, and expanding StackAdapt’s presence within the market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospecting, pitching, and closing new business with brands and in-house marketing teams within the eCommerce vertical
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of eComm brand-direct opportunities using outbound sales strategies and CRM tools
- Developing strategic relationships with senior marketing stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers
- Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Solutions, and Account Management teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Bringing market insights and customer feedback back to internal teams to help shape product innovation and go-to-market strategy
- Creating compelling, value-driven sales presentations and proposals
- Staying informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and the evolving digital advertising landscape
- Partnering closely with Account Managers post-sale to ensure successful onboarding and long-term account growth
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Proven success in a hunter-focused digital advertising sales role, ideally within programmatic advertising
- Experience selling directly to brands and in-house marketing teams through consultative, solution-based selling
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Experience applying MEDDICC (or similar sales methodologies) to manage complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve prospecting, personalization, workflow efficiency, or pipeline generation
- Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of consistently driving new business revenue
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region as needed

Compensation
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in the posting country based on a global rate. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location. We do not ask candidates about current or prior salary history, and we will not use such information, if volunteered, in setting an offer.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Factors Influencing Final Compensation:
- The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.
- Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.
Base Salary Band
£46,195—£63,518 GBP
