Location: Home Based – Covering Southern England
Are you an experienced Electrical Services Sales Manager, Electrical FM Sales Manager or Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling electrical engineering, electrical installations, EV charger installations and ongoing EV charger maintenance contracts?
Do you have experience selling electrical maintenance, PPM and reactive services to Facilities Management companies, commercial landlords, commercial property owners and industrial sites?
Are you confident managing a large portfolio of commercial clients while also successfully winning new electrical engineering, installation and FM contract business?
If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing Electrical Engineering Services business.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Electrical Sales Manager to join its national expanding Electrical Division.
This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and significant investment in the company's Electrical Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and developing existing corporate accounts across Southern England, selling a comprehensive range of electrical engineering, installation and maintenance services.
Ideally, you will have an electrical engineering or electrician background before moving into technical sales, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
You will have the ability to understand and sell specialist electrical engineering solutions to commercial, industrial, blue-chip and government organisations.
OUR CLIENT
Our client has made significant investment into its Electrical Division to further expand its comprehensive electrical engineering, installation and maintenance services across the UK.
Services include:
- Large-scale EV charger installations
- EV charger maintenance and servicing contracts
- Electrical engineering and installation
- Solar PV systems
- Mechanical plant wiring
- External lighting and security systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive electrical maintenance
- Emergency electrical repairs
- Ongoing servicing and maintenance for commercial and industrial sites

Due to continued growth, the company is now recruiting for a brand-new Sales Manager to win new commercial and industrial electrical installation and FM business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Electrical Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business opportunities across Southern England.
- Managing, developing and growing existing corporate, FM and landlord accounts.
- Conducting site visits with new and existing clients.
- Identifying opportunities for electrical installations, EV charging, maintenance and FM contracts.
- Preparing and issuing quotations in line with company gross profit targets.
- Producing site and technical reports for the production and scheduling departments.
- Project managing larger orders and maintaining close communication with production teams to ensure requirements and timelines are achieved.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Prospecting for new business and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining an effective technical sales pipeline through CRM.
- Developing bespoke electrical engineering and FM solutions to meet individual client requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts.
- Monitoring sales performance and consistently working towards and exceeding agreed sales targets.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven success in an Electrical FM, Electrical Engineering Services or Electrical Contract Sales role.
- Previous experience managing and developing a substantial portfolio of commercial clients.
- Experience selling to major Facilities Management companies, landlords, property managers or blue-chip organisations.
- A proven ability to win new business and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Previous experience selling electrical installation and/or ongoing electrical maintenance contracts.
- Experience of winning EV charger installation and maintenance contracts would be highly advantageous, although not essential.
- Previous experience working for an Electrical Contractor or Electrical FM company as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Senior Electrical Services Sales Manager.
- An established network of Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Facilities Managers, Portfolio Managers and other relevant commercial contacts would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently, use your own initiative and manage your own sales activity.
- A highly motivated and target-driven approach.
- A genuine desire to succeed and maximise earnings through achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- The flexibility to travel throughout Southern England for client meetings and attend the company's Head Office in Kent when required.

LOCATION
Home Based – Southern England
The role will involve regular travel to clients throughout Southern England, with occasional attendance at the company's Head Office.
