📍 Location: London Wall (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

About our Team
Cirium Sales organisation is a close-knit high-performing team, constantly innovating and striving for higher commercial impact. Our methodology focuses on helping our clients understand the value we provide to their business and help navigate the buying process. You will be based in our London office, reporting to EMEA Head of Sales and working closely with other EMEA and global sales leaders. You will be leading the European Airlines and Airports sales teams based in the London office. Cirium is one of four companies that comprise LexisNexis Risk Data Services, all of whom are aligned in our sales methodology and recognise the importance of sharing best practice for shared success.
About the Role
You will lead and develop a team responsible for airline and airport customers across Europe. You will drive commercial strategy, support customer success, and help accelerate growth through renewals, expansion opportunities, and new business acquisition. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will guide your team in delivering value-based solutions, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving measurable business outcomes across the aviation sector.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team responsible for European airlines and airports, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution, and consistent progress against revenue targets.
- Set the commercial strategy for the segment, translating regional growth objectives into robust territory, account, and pipeline plans.
- Drive team performance across renewal, expansion, and new logo acquisition, holding the team accountable for measurable customer and revenue outcomes.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and growth areas within Europe to expand Cirium’s reach.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and revenue forecasts, ensuring achievement through proactive pipeline management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a customer-centric approach while negotiating and closing commercial agreements.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and solutions consulting teams to deliver solutions tailored to client needs and provide market feedback.
- Track sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts while supporting the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentoring.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing sales teams, ideally within aviation, data, analytics, SaaS, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of European airline and airport markets, including the commercial, operational, and strategic challenges facing customers in this segment.
- Track record of setting sales strategy, translating growth objectives into team-level plans, and driving disciplined execution through others.
- Experience coaching sales professionals on account planning, pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, stakeholder management, negotiation, and closing strategy.
- Ability to hold teams accountable for revenue, retention, renewal, expansion, and new business performance.
- Strong capability in pipeline governance, forecast accuracy, Salesforce discipline, and commercial performance reporting.
- Confidence engaging with senior customer stakeholders as an executive sponsor and supporting the team through complex commercial situations.
- Excellent communication, coaching, presentation, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel across Europe for strategic customer engagements, team support, industry events, and conferences.
