Position Overview
Quirk Auto Dealerships is seeking an experienced Sales Manager / General Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales process and team, developing strategic sales initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record in automotive sales leadership with a focus on building strong customer relationships and ensuring the team is motivated and equipped to meet the company's sales objectives.
Key Required Proficiencies:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Demonstrate vehicles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties, and available services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Work through all current finance processes, including lease structures, lender approvals, and financing options.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Audit and approve all trade-in vehicle appraisals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop sales professionals to maximize individual and team success.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- High level of customer service orientation and ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years Sales Management experience in the automotive industry.
- Successful completion of a background check, including but not limited to, a criminal record check, physical and drug screen, and motor vehicle records check (if applicable to position).
