About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing provider of fire safety solutions, delivering a comprehensive range of active and passive fire protection services to customers across the UK.

Due to continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their sales function across South Wales, the Midlands, and the South West.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused sales leader with strong experience within the fire safety industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing the sales team, strengthening customer relationships, and helping shape the future direction of the business.

The role offers a unique blend of sales leadership and hands-on business development, making it ideal for a proven player-manager who thrives on both leading teams and winning business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Sales Manager will lead, develop and support a team of Business Development Managers and Internal Sales professionals while maintaining responsibility for key strategic accounts and personal sales targets.

You'll be responsible for delivering sustainable growth across the company's full range of fire safety solutions, improving sales performance, driving conversion rates, and ensuring a high-performing sales culture throughout the business.

Working from home, you'll have the autonomy to manage your region while collaborating closely with operational and senior leadership teams.

  • Set and manage clear sales objectives, KPIs and performance targets.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of future sales team members.
  • Create and maintain a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
