The Opportunity
Build France, Then Grow Your Scope
This is a true “market maker” role for a hungry, high-output sales professional who wants ownership, autonomy, and a visible growth runway. You’ll launch and scale the French market for a new entrant, land the first reference customers, and—once France is performing—expand into Spain, Italy, and Portugal as the next phase of the plan.
Company Context
The business has an innovative, technical solution aimed at the hygiene / odour marketplace, built to solve a real operational problem for multi-site customers. Backed by leading private equity, the company is now entering its next growth phase with a clear mandate: accelerate customer acquisition and build momentum in Europe. France is the immediate priority market.
What You’ll Do
- Win new business in France: prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate, close
- Open doors with large multi-site organisations and key decision makers
- Build and manage an indirect channel: identify, recruit, and drive performance with resellers/distributors (including making tough calls when performance isn’t there)
- Create the go-to-market playbook for France (messaging, target segments, activity cadence, pipeline discipline)
- Provide market feedback to leadership on positioning, pricing, and channel strategy
- Prepare and support the next phase: Southern Europe expansion (Spain / Italy / Portugal) once France is delivering

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
