An exciting opportunity to join a long-established family business and help grow sales within their new technology sector.

ROLE

  • Product Sales Manager for Laser Welding, Cleaning & Optical Products
  • Build a sales strategy for new innovation products, including laser welding and cleaning machinery.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
  • Meet with customers to understand their production processes across industrial, automotive, and medical markets in the UK and Europe.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a territory plan.
  • Participate with the engineering team in technical meetings to understand machine technology and its capabilities.
  • Prepare welding samples using customer products to understand how best to match the machine to the customer's technology.
  • Demonstrate welding samples during live customer presentations.
  • Sell laser welding machines and associated welding equipment, including welding helmets, fume extraction, and clothing.
  • Work with CRM, Subject, SAP, and Excel.
  • Handle customer enquiries and define requirements.
  • Create quotations and arrange samples.
  • Follow up sample approval and update suppliers.
  • Maintain the quotation and sales database.
  • Pass orders from converted offers to the Sales Admin Team.
  • Produce reports on sales activity.
