We are partnering with an established international manufacturer looking to appoint a Sales Manager to develop its presence across Germany and selected neighbouring European markets. This is a genuine territory-development opportunity for an experienced salesperson who knows the German market and has a track record of selling medical devices, laboratory equipment or technical capital equipment.

The business has an established international footprint, proven products and an existing European operation. The opportunity now is to strengthen its commercial presence within Germany and build further momentum across the region.

The Role

You will take ownership of a defined geographic territory, combining new business development with the growth of existing customer and partner relationships. The position will involve:

  • Developing new business across Germany and selected neighbouring markets
  • Building relationships with healthcare, laboratory, scientific and other technically led customers
  • Managing the full sales process from initial engagement through technical discussions, demonstrations, negotiation and close
  • Developing existing accounts while identifying opportunities for further growth
  • Building and managing a high-quality commercial pipeline
  • Working with channel and distribution partners where appropriate
  • Gathering market intelligence and identifying emerging commercial opportunities
  • Representing the business at relevant customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
  • Working autonomously while collaborating with a wider European commercial team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are deliberately open-minded on exact product background. You do not need to come from an identical product category.

However, candidates whose experience is predominantly software, professional services, FMCG or other non-technical environments are unlikely to have the background required.

Why Consider It?

This is an opportunity to join an established international organisation while retaining the autonomy and commercial ownership associated with building a territory. There is a strong platform already in place, but considerable scope for the successful individual to shape how the market develops and establish themselves as a key part of the organisation's continued European growth.
