Sales Representative – DACH Region
Location: Germany / Austria / Switzerland (Remote or Field-Based)
Reporting to: Sales Director, Europe

Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Sales Representative to develop and expand our market presence within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored conveyor solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical sales experience, a deep understanding of the region, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, target, and secure new customers across the DACH region
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve growth targets
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, and market research
- Build a robust sales pipeline and manage opportunities through CRM systems
Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the sales process
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Support customers with product recommendations and solutions tailored to their operational needs
Sales & Technical Support
- Present and demonstrate FMH Conveyors’ product range and capabilities
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver custom solutions
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
Market & Industry Insight
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the DACH region
- Provide feedback to senior management on customer needs and product development opportunities
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events

Key Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in material handling, logistics, automation, or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of the DACH market and business culture
- Ability to sell technical solutions and manage complex sales cycles
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Language & Location
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
- Based in, or willing to travel extensively within, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
Education
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
Desirable
- Experience with conveyor systems or warehouse automation
- Existing network within logistics, e-commerce, or distribution sectors
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
