TITLE
Sales Manager
INTRODUCTION
Our client is a global manufacturer of premium sports flooring, coatings, protection and repair products. The company has an enviable reputation as a quality supplier and has worked on a multitude of large-scale projects. Due to continued growth in their sports flooring and sports coatings division, they now require an experienced sales professional to grow their UK presence.
LOCATION
Field sales and home-based / Remote role.
National remit.
THE JOB ROLE
The Sales Manager role is a home and field-based position taking responsibility for growing our client’s presence in the sports flooring and sports coatings sector.
- Selling a premium range of sports flooring and performance coatings and materials.
- Creating specifications for new commercial projects, both public and private sector, tracking projects to completion.
- Targeting growth across leisure, fitness, education and events sectors, driving brand awareness across all customer groups.
- Building and developing key relationships with professional sports flooring contractors and installers.
- Responsibility for providing customers with technical guidance and install training.
- Using professional CRM systems and project software.

THE PERSON NEEDED
For the Sales Manager role our client is looking for strongly related sales experience. The role comes with excellent training and development, but our client is looking for:
- Good existing specification sales or technical field sales experience within the sports flooring and sports coatings industry.
- Existing knowledge of commercial or industrial building products or construction products (full product training provided).
- A structured and autonomous approach to managing a sales area, along with a professional team mindset.
