Sales & Wholesale Manager
Food | Wellness | Gut Health | London
What if your next sales role was selling products you genuinely believed in, into a market that is growing fast?
We’re working with a brilliant, ambitious food business behind two exciting brands at the forefront of the fermented food, gut health and wellness space. These aren't brands waiting to find their audience. They already have award-winning products, a strong consumer following and listings with some of the UK's most respected premium retailers. Now they're ready to take the next step — and they need a Sales & Wholesale Manager to make it happen.
This is a role for someone who likes opening doors, building relationships and winning business. Someone who gets a buzz from walking into a new customer, telling a compelling product story, getting the buyer excited and turning that conversation into an order.
You'll have real ownership of wholesale growth across both brands, from developing existing accounts and distributors to identifying and winning new customers across speciality food, premium retail, health food and foodservice. And because this is a small, entrepreneurial business backed by an established food group, you'll have the freedom to make things happen — without having to build the infrastructure around you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- You'll be commercially hungry, naturally curious and confident enough to pick up the phone, knock on a door and create an opportunity from scratch.
- You'll also have a genuine interest in food, nutrition, wellness and gut health. You don't need to be a nutritionist — but you should be genuinely interested in the category and able to talk passionately about the products you're representing.
- You'll need resilience, energy and plenty of personality. This is not a passive account-management role; there's plenty of new business, face-to-face selling and pavement pounding involved.
The opportunity
- £55,000–£65,000, depending on experience, plus commission, travel expenses and potential use of a pool car.
- The package is flexible for the right person.
If you're ready to take ownership, open new doors and help build the next chapter of two genuinely exciting food brands, we'd love to talk.
