Company Description
Major Events International Ltd (MEI) support sport organisations seeking host destinations and new commercial partners, multi-sector expert suppliers seeking to win business in international sports events and Venues and Cities requiring higher market profile to attract and deliver more iconic events.
Role Description
There is an immediate requirement for a full-time Sales Manager role which is only suitable for candidates who are able to work from the London HQ of MEI. The main focus is selling delegate passes and sponsorship related opportunities to multi-sector commercial suppliers and agencies leveraging the range of MEI Summits and routine networking events. There are also opportunities related to the commercialisation of prestigious Publications and targeted email campaigns.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in B2B sales, ideally within events, sports, or professional services sectors.
- Experience with prospecting, pipeline management, and CRM tools, including the ability to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Competence in collaborating with marketing teams, understanding campaigns, and supporting lead generation and promotional activities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Greater London, with flexibility to attend summits, client meetings, and international trade visits as required.
