Sales Manager in Hull - Premium Health Club

£30-35k + performance-related bonus

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire

Our client is a premium health club in Hull, home to a range of exclusive facilities and services including Reformer Pilates. The club is looking for a commercially sharp Sales Manager to take ownership of its sales performance and build a strong, sustainable membership base.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape the commercial future of a club that is still finding its feet. The right person won't just run the sales process, they'll understand it, diagnose where it's leaking and rebuild it around a performance-led culture that lasts. There's real scope here too: this club doesn't want a Sales Manager forever, it wants someone who can grow into a General Manager role.

On offer is a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000, a performance-related bonus, and the chance to genuinely influence how a premium club with services like Reformer Pilates develops commercially.

Working pattern: A mixture of shifts across the week, with the Sales Manager expected to be present during the club's prime selling periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales leadership: Take ownership of the club's overall sales performance and instil a strong, performance-led culture across the team.
  • Funnel management: Manage and understand the full sales funnel, identifying gaps and diagnosing exactly where performance is being lost.
  • Data and KPIs: Analyse KPIs and sales data to understand where attention and resource need to be focused, and carry out gap calculations against targets to shape clear activity plans.
  • Coaching: Deliver bespoke one to one coaching and sales training based on individual performance and development needs.
  • Activity and accountability: Build a strong cadence of sales activity, follow up and accountability, and ensure effective database management with quality note taking and consistent follow up rhythms.
  • Membership growth: Drive new member calls, lead conversion, referrals and overall membership growth.
  • Partnerships and outreach: Build relationships with local businesses, develop corporate partnerships and deliver a strong local outreach programme.
  • Team development: Support the onboarding and commercial development of the wider team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
