Data Centre Sales Manager
UK - Hyperscale Accounts
£100,000 - £130,000 + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Pension + Healthcare + More
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Account Sales Manager to take ownership of strategic relationships with some of the world’s largest hyperscale technology companies.
This is a senior, commercially focused role where you will operate at executive level, developing long-term partnerships and driving growth across major multinational accounts. You’ll have access to a broad portfolio of data centre technologies and services, allowing you to develop complete solutions rather than simply selling individual products.
You’ll play a key role in shaping account strategy across EMEA, increasing customer wallet share and identifying new opportunities across multiple countries, projects and business units.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop strategic relationships with major Hyperscale Data Centre customers across EMEA.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with teams across multiple regions.
- Drive sales of data centre solutions including structured cabling, physical security, electrical solutions, liquid cooling, power, networking, IoT, and Pro-AV.
- Identify new opportunities, develop pursuit strategies, and lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Position value-added services including design, project deployment, product enhancement, and rack & roll solutions.
- Build strong relationships with customer executives, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering major agreements, master supply agreements, and contractual arrangements.
- Assess commercial, financial, and contractual risk and understand the impact of agreements across different markets.
- Develop strategies to increase customer wallet share, renew existing business, and win new programmes.
- Maintain a strong pipeline across projects, renewals, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Bring together internal teams and strategic suppliers to develop innovative solutions for complex customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services and capabilities across the wider organisation.
- Take ownership of high-level sales engagements and strategic negotiations.
- Provide senior leadership with clear updates on account activity, pipeline, opportunities, and strategic projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
