By day we create award winning whiskey and in the evening we open our doors to invite people in to our home to enjoy great live music, cocktails and making new friends. As part of our journey we are looking for a super star Sales Manager to join our team. This role is a key role within Titanic Distillers. We want the best talent to join us.

Outcomes for the role

  • Deliver annual sales plan for NI & ROI market for TD. This will include Revenue, profit and market share.
  • Enhance our reputation as a distiller who adds category value to our customers.
  • Shape our future by delivering strong, proven growth drivers for our brand in both on and off trade channels that we can export and share with global customers.
  • Deliver strong measurement and evaluation back into the business so we can learn and either scale up or stop.
  • Represent TD externally across Island of Ireland at commercial events.

Inputs of the role (experience in these will be beneficial)

  • Manage a small team and provide them with the gift of clarity on how to win while ensuring they have the tools required to do an amazing job. Provide them with an appropriate and amazing development plan.
  • Manage directly 6-7 group retail customers to drive your joint customer plan for the year.
  • Manage directly ~ 50 large on trade group accounts to drive your joint customer plan for the year.
  • Actively manage 2 appointed distribution partners (NI & ROI)
  • Lead the use of a CRM tool for TD with accurate data input and insight extraction.

Experience that would be helpful and used in short listing.

  • 5 years sales experience with a strong record of sustainable growth and delivery of stretching targets.
  • Experience in managing national accounts – managing customers who operate multiple sights and have an internal process that needs to be not just followed but strictly adhered to
  • Experience in acquiring new business and sustaining that business through delighting these customers and adding real value to them.
  • Solid experience in managing a sales territory and your own P&L

Other information

  • The role will be primarily based in Greater Belfast with occasional travel across NI as you determine necessary to deliver your plan
  • Some travel to ROI will be required – this could be 3 working days per month. Sometimes more but sometimes less.
  • Clean driving license required.
