Sales Manager

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Sales Manager to lead our Connectivity Sales team.

Based from our Nelson office and reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll lead a team of Desk Based Account Managers while taking ownership of sales strategy, revenue growth, and overall commercial performance across a significant portfolio worth approximately £20m in annual revenue.

Whilst this is primarily an office-based role, you'll also have opportunities to build relationships face-to-face through partner visits, industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager looking for their next challenge, or a high-performing sales professional ready to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced and growing business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and managing a team of three Account Managers.
  • Creating a high-performance culture focused on growth, accountability, and customer success.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to maximise their potential.
  • Owning and delivering revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Taking commercial responsibility for a portfolio generating circa £20m annual revenue.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies that support business growth objectives.
  • Using data, insight, and AI-enabled tools to improve sales effectiveness and productivity.
  • Driving partner acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Monitoring and improving sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and the wider Go-To-Market teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise processes, performance, and customer outcomes.
  • Supporting succession planning and developing future sales leaders within the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
