About Saqaya
Saqaya is an AI-native product engineering company built for ambitious businesses. With a strong delivery hub in Egypt and a global growth mindset, we help companies build, scale and evolve digital products through high-quality engineering talent and technical expertise. We're growing fast β and we're looking for an exceptional Sales Manager β New Business to help us take that growth to the next level. This is not a role where you'll inherit a mature pipeline. You'll build it. Own it. And turn it into revenue.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional who knows how to create opportunities from cold. Your mission will be simple: build Saqaya's outbound engine from the ground up and convert target accounts into new clients. You'll identify and engage CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product and other senior technology decision-makers across a broad range of industries. We have particular strength in fintech, proptech, gaming and sports, but we're open to opportunities wherever there's a strong product engineering need. You'll work closely with the CEO, with significant ownership over strategy, messaging, prospecting and pipeline performance.
What You'll Own
- Build and execute Saqaya's outbound sales strategy across email, LinkedIn and phone.
- Identify, research and segment high-value target accounts.
- Build relationships with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product and other technical decision-makers.
- Generate qualified opportunities through consistent, high-quality cold outreach.
- Own the sales process from prospecting β qualification β discovery β proposal β close.
- Run discovery calls and understand complex technical and business challenges.
- Develop compelling outreach messaging and continuously test what works.
- Qualify inbound opportunities alongside your self-generated pipeline.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and accurate pipeline forecasting.
- Report directly to the CEO on pipeline, activity, conversion and revenue performance.
- Help shape the sales playbook as Saqaya scales.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Success Looks Like
In this role, success isn't measured by how many emails you send. It's measured by the quality of the conversations you create and the revenue you generate. You'll be expected to build a predictable pipeline, create meaningful relationships with senior technology leaders and consistently convert new business opportunities into long-term clients. This is a genuine build-and-own opportunity for someone who wants significant responsibility and visibility.
Why Join Saqaya?
We're building more than another software services company. We're building an AI-native product engineering business with global ambitions β combining strong engineering capabilities, an international customer base and an ambitious growth strategy. If you're the kind of salesperson who wants to build something rather than inherit it, this could be your opportunity. If you know how to turn cold accounts into conversations, conversations into opportunities, and opportunities into revenue β we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and let's talk.
