Kaya Great Northern Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of King's Cross St Pancras. We are proud to offer exceptional service, stylish accommodation and long-lasting relationships with our guests and corporate partners.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and commercially driven Sales Manager to join our team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a key role in growing the hotel's corporate business, developing new client relationships and maximising room revenue.
This is a proactive, client-facing role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being out of the office, meeting people, networking and winning new business.
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new corporate business while maintaining and growing our existing client portfolio.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Revenue, Reservations and Operations teams, you will develop sales strategies, negotiate corporate agreements and identify opportunities to increase revenue across the hotel.
You will also lead and support our Sales Executive, helping to prioritise daily activities and ensuring excellent service for our clients.

As part of a small and collaborative commercial team, you will provide support across the Sales Office, including covering Meetings & Events enquiries during holidays and assisting with day-to-day sales operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new corporate business.
- Build strong relationships with local, national and international companies.
- Develop business with corporate clients, business travel agencies and travel management companies.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing corporate accounts.
- Negotiate and renew corporate agreements.
- Prepare and submit annual corporate RFPs.
- Conduct regular sales appointments, networking events and hotel show rounds.
- Represent the hotel at exhibitions, client events and industry functions.
- Work closely with the Revenue team to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Lead, support and motivate the Sales Executive.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate client records.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and monitor account performance.
- Support Meetings & Events enquiries during holiday periods.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.

About You
We're looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive and passionate about hotel sales.
You will have:
- Previous hotel sales experience within the London market.
- A proven track record of winning new corporate business.
- Strong business development and account management experience.
- Experience negotiating corporate agreements and managing RFPs.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive, professional and results-driven approach.
- The ability to build relationships quickly and confidently.
- Commercial awareness with a good understanding of hotel revenue management.
