Job Mission
As Sales Manager (MICE UK South), you will drive and achieve revenue objectives for the Groups and Catering segment from the Corporate, Government and Pharmaceutical sectors. Through proactive new business development and strategic account management, you will maximise profitability, strengthen client relationships, and enhance market share for:
- Meliá White House
- Meliá London
- Meliá London Kensington
Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt for high-potential corporate, government, and pharmaceutical accounts to drive group and catering revenue
- Achieve a minimum number of weekly sales appointments through:
- Office visits
- Site inspections
- FAM trips
- Virtual meetings
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within managed accounts
- Negotiate rates in line with:
- Hotel objectives
- Business Plan targets
- Focus on high-ADR production
- Analyse corporate sales performance weekly, reviewing:
- Account production
- Implementing corrective actions where required
- Review with the Director of Sales:
- Market analysis
- RGI performance
- Competitor activity to improve hotel results
- Participate in:
- Sales blitzes
- Roadshows
- Presentations
- Networking events
- FAM trips
- Other sales initiatives to achieve annual targets
- Create and execute Account Development Plans in alignment with:
- Director of Sales
- Overall sales strategy
- Support wider sales team activities, including:
- Show rounds
- Presentations
- Reports
- Networking events
- Special projects

Requirements
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience in corporate and group sales within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong hunting capability
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider sales team
