Job Description

Let’s Talk about the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) Sales Manager to define and execute the sales strategy for our Grid Automation portfolio across the UK and Ireland. You will act as a primary subject matter expert, driving commercial growth for critical asset monitoring solutions—including DGA, bushing monitoring, and tap-changer monitoring—while fostering deep strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

In this role, you will be more than just a salesperson; you will be a strategic partner to our customers, translating complex technical challenges into high-value monitoring solutions. Reporting to the North Europe Sales Leader, you will define the roadmap for our M&D portfolio, lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, and champion the GE Vernova values as you scale our regional footprint.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Driving the sales strategy for the M&D portfolio, managing regional budgets, and achieving order intake targets.
  • Building deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders to expand market share and drive portfolio growth.
  • Creating and implementing robust commercial strategies, including competitive positioning and "win-price" modelling.
  • Leading the full sales cycle, from deal structuring and proposal development to high-level negotiations and contract closure.
  • Collaborating across contracts, applications, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer support and project delivery.
  • Improving commercial performance through rigorous reporting, actionable mitigation plans, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Developing regional success by mentoring colleagues and serving as the primary subject matter expert for monitoring solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
