BDM with KAM Responsibilities | Radiology Solutions | North East England
🚀 Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building business, challenging conventional thinking, and creating growth opportunities?
Agfa Radiology Solutions is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-potential territory across the North East of England.
This is not a role for someone who simply manages existing business. We are seeking an individual who is energized by prospecting, uncovering opportunities, building relationships, and developing a territory with significant growth potential.
You'll spend approximately 80% of your time generating new business opportunities and developing a robust sales pipeline, with the remaining 20% focused on growing and strengthening existing customer relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving growth of Agfa's innovative Digital Radiology portfolio across the North East.
- Building deep relationships with key stakeholders across NHS and private healthcare providers.
- Mapping customer organizations to identify decision-makers, influencers, and new opportunities.
- Developing strategic account plans to increase market penetration and customer intimacy.
- Leading commercially focused conversations that challenge existing thinking and deliver value-based solutions.
- Creating and maintaining a healthy pipeline that consistently delivers against territory objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
