GTC, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for Sales Manager (North West) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

As a Sales Manager within the Northwest sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with key housing developers across the region.

You will manage a portfolio of customers, with a key goal to secure new business, generate new opportunities and promote our products and services. Through regular face-to-face meetings, pipeline management, and proactive account development, you will position the business as the multi-utility partner of choice within the northwest region.

Your Key Responsibilities Are

  • Drive sales growth through strategic engagement with your portfolio of housing developers.
  • Secure new business opportunities and maximise specification of products and services.
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with developers, house builders, and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Lead face-to-face customer engagement to identify needs, influence decision-makers, and increase revenue.
  • Forecast, track, and report sales performance, implementing actions to maintain target achievement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers across the Northwest region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful project delivery and outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Promote the business as the multi-utility partner of choice through effective account development and market engagement.
  • Champion the company brand, products, and value proposition within the housing and utilities sectors.
  • Generate and qualify new leads through market intelligence, customer networks, and data-driven insights.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring robust pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support wider Sales & Tendering team objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and sharing customer feedback.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as required by management in line with the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Grade C or above in English and Math GCSE or equivalent.

Experience/Knowledge

  • Sales Experience, Microsoft IT Packages.

Abilities/Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Ability to manage own workload, plan effectively and make decisions independently.

Conditions of Employment

  • You will hold a driving licence.
