Not every sales role is about managing an existing customer base.
This opportunity is for someone who enjoys building a market, creating opportunities and developing relationships with multiple stakeholders over complex sales cycles.
We're partnering with an established and growing technology business operating within the port sector. With continued investment and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their commercial presence across the UK and Northern Europe.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of a strategically important market, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in the next stage of the company's growth.
The Opportunity:
You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities across a portfolio of ports, terminals and related organisations.
Success in this role won't come from waiting for opportunities to appear. It will come from building relationships, understanding customer challenges and creating momentum long before formal procurement processes begin.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a growth environment and wants the autonomy to make a genuine impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
