OpenRoom is a B2B events business recently acquired by CloserStill Media. We run a global portfolio of hosted buyer events across Dental, ReFuel, Veterinary and Pharmacy.
Our events connect senior decision-makers with leading suppliers through curated one-to-one meetings, content and premium networking. The model is relationship-led, focused on creating meaningful commercial conversations between buyers and suppliers in high-value environments.
Who We Are Looking For
A commercially sharp, relationship-driven Sales Manager to join OpenRoom, a B2B hosted buyer events business recently acquired by CloserStill Media. You'll take ownership of supplier revenue across our Dental, Veterinary and ReFuel portfolios, working across 4–5 events a year. This is a role for someone who sells consultatively, builds genuine long-term client relationships, and takes real pride in hitting their numbers consistently
The Role
- Sell supplier packages across assigned OpenRoom events, with a focus on the Dental, Veterinary and ReFuel portfolios
- Deliver individual revenue targets across 4–5 events per year, working to agreed weekly run rates for each event
- Build and manage strong client relationships through a consultative approach, understanding supplier objectives and positioning the right opportunity
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, desk research, competitor analysis and market mapping
- Maintain pipeline coverage of 2–3x target across assigned events at all times
- Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, with all active opportunities properly recorded and regularly updated
- Submit accurate weekly pledges with clear visibility on revenue, risks, blockers and opportunities
- Maximise revenue through new business, repeat bookings, upsells, sponsorship and premium packages
- Work closely with marketing, buyer recruitment, portfolio and operations teams to support event growth
- Attend events onsite, supporting client relationships, supplier experience and future commercial opportunities
- Where applicable, provide direction and support to Sales Executives on activity, pipeline management and sales discipline

About You
- Experience in B2B events, media, sponsorship, exhibitions or a comparable commercial sales environment
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable working to weekly run rates, clear targets and commercial deadlines
- Consultative seller with the ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships
- Confidently engaging senior decision-makers and managing commercial conversations
- Strong new business skills, you can open doors and build a pipeline from scratch
- Disciplined pipeline manager with experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Able to forecast accurately and communicate revenue risk clearly
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple events at different stages of the cycle
- Positive, collaborative and solution-focused, you work well across sales, marketing, operations and buyer recruitment
- Reliable, consistent and takes full ownership of workload and delivery
