Sales Manager – Pet and Animal Wellness (PAW) EMEA

The Sales Manager – Pet and Animal Wellness (PAW) EMEA will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Central and Eastern European region. This role will focus on both expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities within the PAW portfolio. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring that the PAW business continues to deliver exceptional value and service while advancing strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of PAW accounts across Central and Eastern Europe, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership development.
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that align with the PAW strategic growth plan.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CD&D, Platform, and Customer Service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and coordinated go-to-market execution.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor account performance, sales metrics, and pipeline progress to ensure achievement of revenue and business goals.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance value and strengthen relationships.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition/Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or similar degree in Business Management.
  • Over 2 years of B2B technical sales or account management experience in Pet Health / Nutrition, functional ingredients, or related industries.
  • Proven success in account development, contract negotiation, and revenue generation.
  • Strong understanding of microbiome-based ingredients and their application in pet nutrition.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and analytical tools (Power BI, Excel).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across a matrix organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 20–40% within Europe. Valid European driving license.

Key Outcomes - First 90–180 Days:

  • Build strong relationships with priority accounts, key stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate high-quality Leads within the pet food, treat and supplement space.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities across microbiome bioactives and PAW finished formats.
  • Integrate well with the existing team.

Key Outcomes – Ongoing Metrics:

  • Annual revenue and gross margin (GM) attainment.
  • Grow the sales pipeline to meet pre-defined targets and deliver financial targets.
  • Demonstrate an ability to close opportunities by meeting win-rate targets.
  • Forecast accuracy and CRM data integrity.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction scores.
  • Focus on Hunting new accounts and cross-selling success with Pet Nutrition.
  • Lead and support multiple customer technical engagements.
