Sales Manager

We are recruiting for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Manager (proactive) to drive business growth across key market segments.

Are you passionate about sales, hospitality, and building strong client relationships? We are looking for a Sales Manager to join the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park.

As Sales Manager, you will develop new business opportunities, manage corporate and leisure accounts, and build lasting relationships with clients. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Revenue Director, and hotel teams, you will help maximise revenue, achieve sales targets, and contribute to the hotel's overall commercial success.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Develop and implement sales activities in line with the hotel's business strategy and target market segments.
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with corporate and leisure clients, business travel agents, and booking agents.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and attract new clients.
  • Manage key accounts, develop existing business, and generate repeat bookings.
  • Prepare client contracts in line with agreed pricing and business conditions.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue Director to monitor budgets and achieve commercial targets.
  • Organise client familiarisation visits and corporate hospitality events to showcase the hotel's facilities and services.
  • Collaborate with Groups, Meetings & Events, and Food & Beverage teams to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support the annual RFP (Request for Proposal) process, helping secure and retain corporate business.
  • Work with hotel teams to deliver excellent guest experiences, address feedback, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales and marketing performance.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially focused, and confident in developing business relationships.

Ideally, You Will Have

  • At least two years' experience in proactive sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in a similar sales role, with a proven track record of supporting management and achieving business objectives.
  • Knowledge of the UK hospitality market and relevant corporate and leisure segments.
  • Strong business development, account management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use reports and market trends to identify business opportunities.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A genuine passion for sales, delivering excellent customer experiences, and achieving results.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments and backgrounds.
