Summary – Basic Function Of The Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) business across the ESSA region.
In this role, you will help customers improve asset reliability, maintain operational performance, and prepare critical infrastructure for future energy and industrial demands. Working closely with commercial, operational, and technical teams, you will identify opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and position Hydratight as a trusted provider of Process & Pipeline Services solutions.
The ESSA region represents a significant growth opportunity for Hydratight, with increasing demand for services including Leak Testing, Lube Oil Flushing, Chemical Cleaning, Hydro Milling, and Hydro Testing.
This role is accountable for developing and executing the regional growth strategy for PPS, expanding market presence, and securing new business with key operators, EPC contractors, and industrial customers. You will work closely with regional sales teams, operations, and EMEA technical specialists to ensure customers receive high-quality solutions that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The position requires a commercially focused and collaborative approach, with responsibility for building a strong sales pipeline, increasing revenue, and supporting the delivery of the region's strategic growth objectives.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional growth strategy for Process & Pipeline Services across the ESSA region
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and industrial markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, EPC contractors, and key stakeholders to support long-term growth
- Promote Hydratight's Process & Pipeline Services portfolio, including Leak Testing, Lube Oil Flushing, Chemical Cleaning, Hydro Milling, and Hydro Testing solutions
- Engage with customers early in project planning and maintenance cycles to position Hydratight as a preferred service provider
- Develop strategic account plans to increase customer engagement, revenue, and market share
- Work closely with operations, estimation, and technical teams to develop competitive and commercially sound proposals
- Support bid preparation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations while maintaining margin expectations
- Deliver against agreed revenue and profitability targets
- Monitor market activity, customer requirements, and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
- Provide commercial guidance and support to regional sales teams to strengthen PPS market positioning
- Contribute to sales-to-operations handovers to ensure alignment on scope, deliverables, and customer expectations
- Support project reviews and customer feedback activities to encourage repeat business and continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and forecasting information within Salesforce CRM
- Participate in regular sales reviews, forecasting discussions, and strategic planning activities
- Follow internal approval processes and escalation procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Represent the organisation professionally in all customer and internal interactions
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational standards

Skills And Competencies
- Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within industrial services, engineering, or energy-related sectors
- Strong ability to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships across multiple stakeholder levels
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong planning, organisation, and opportunity management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Understanding of industrial maintenance, asset integrity, shutdowns, or project environments
- Knowledge of Process & Pipeline Services, Leak Testing, Hydro Testing, Chemical Cleaning, Lube Oil Flushing, or related industrial services would be advantageous
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel across the ESSA region as required
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technical Studies, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in technical sales, business development, or industrial service environments
- Demonstrated success in developing new customers and growing existing accounts
- Experience working with industrial, energy, petrochemical, power generation, or infrastructure customers is highly desirable
- Experience selling technical services or engineered solutions is preferred
