Company Description
IDE Systems provides temporary power solutions for a wide range of industries, including construction and events. The company uses smart technology, such as Erica, an energy management system, to help reduce power wastage on sites and improve energy efficiency. IDE Systems also offers a full range of portable, robust EV chargers suitable for various locations and operational needs. Since September 2021, IDE Systems has been fully owned by Sdiptech AB, a technology group focused on infrastructure solutions that support more sustainable, efficient, and safe societies. The team is committed to sustainability and innovation in temporary power and charging solutions.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing existing customer accounts, compiling & analysing sales figures, and helping the company achieve its sales and growth targets. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused individual who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand the ‘size of opportunity’ available to IDE within the UK marketplace.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Build a network of influencers & advocates within regional business.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Increase YoY revenue both sales & rental.
Other daily tasks will include:
- Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Liaise with IDE’s Sales Director weekly/monthly with updates & initiatives.
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and performance reports.
- Deliver a monthly report on all initiatives, goals, targets & KPIs.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the CRM system.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales or business development role.
- A proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Confident in developing relationships with customers at all levels.
- Commercially aware and results focused.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- A full UK driving licence.

Role Key Performance Indicators
- Revenue growth in sales & hire revenue.
- Increased order conversion rate (National Accounts should be at an increased win/loss ratio).
- Reduced invoice queries.
- Reduced credits on both sales & rental.
- Produce a monthly sales report.
