Overview

Fox ESS was established in 2019 and, through its world-leading team of engineers and technicians, is leading the way in power technology research and development, energy storage equipment manufacturing, IT data services, and new energy project development. The company focuses on providing advanced distributed energy, energy storage products, and smart energy management solutions for households and industrial and commercial enterprises.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with key customers across the UK and Ireland energy storage market.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, understanding their business needs and providing professional and timely support throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop strong relationships with EPCs, developers, IPPs, distributors, utilities, and other strategic partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by understanding customer requirements and introducing suitable energy storage, inverter, and EV charging solutions.
  • Manage the full customer journey, from initial discussions and requirements gathering through quotation, project coordination, delivery, and ongoing account management.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical, product, operations, and after-sales teams, to ensure customer requirements are effectively communicated and delivered.
  • Coordinate with global teams across the UK, Europe, and China to provide tailored solutions and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, monitor project progress, and proactively identify potential risks or challenges.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customers’ business models, project pipelines, and future requirements in order to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and account development activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and account plans, providing regular updates to management.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, industry developments, and changes in the UK energy storage market.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the energy, renewable energy, battery storage, inverter, or EV charging industry.
  • Experience managing B2B customers and building long-term business relationships.
  • Previous experience working with EPCs, developers, IPPs, utilities, distributors, or commercial and industrial customers is highly preferred.
  • Good technical and commercial understanding of energy storage systems, inverters, EV charging solutions, or related renewable energy technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills in English.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel when required to meet customers and attend industry events.
