Sales Manager | Residential Energy Storage (UK)
Remote | UK | Up to £55,000 basic plus commission
We are retained by a fast-growing global manufacturer in the home energy storage and hybrid inverter market. Part of a listed manufacturing group with significant global production and R&D capability, they design and build their own cells, packs, inverters, systems and monitoring software in-house. Having established themselves quickly in other international markets, they are now building out their UK presence and are hiring their first dedicated Sales Manager for the region.
The role
- Own the UK commercial strategy for a residential storage and hybrid inverter portfolio covering single and three phase, high and low voltage, AC coupled retrofit and all-in-one systems
- Build and manage the UK route to market across national and regional solar distributors, electrical wholesalers and merchant groups
- Recruit, onboard and grow an MCS accredited installer base, supporting them with product training, commercial terms and pipeline support
- Work alongside the internal technical and applications teams on product approvals, G98 and G99 considerations, warranty and aftersales positioning
- Track competitor pricing, product launches and channel movement, and feed UK market requirements back into the product roadmap
- Represent the brand at UK trade events including Solar and Storage Live and InstallerSHOW
- Report directly to the General Manager on pipeline, revenue, channel performance and market intelligence

What they are looking for
- Two or more years of B2B sales experience, ideally within residential solar PV, battery storage, inverters, electrical wholesale, heat pumps or EV charging
- A demonstrable record of opening new accounts and hitting revenue targets
- Working knowledge of the UK residential renewables channel, whether from the manufacturer, distributor or installer side
- Comfortable being the face of a brand in a market where it is still building recognition
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, with occasional international travel
- Existing right to work in the UK
