You're not short on drive.
You're short on a seat that rewards it.
The best sales leaders we meet aren't stalled for lack of ability. They can coach a team, work a broker lunch, turn a lead into a signature. But quietly, they know they're carrying more than their title says, and nobody's handing them the next rung. If you read that and felt something, keep reading. This is the seat that hands it to you.
Who We Are
Blue Gem operates some of London's most premium workspaces. We design, build and run beautiful, hospitality-led buildings where the UK's most discerning companies choose to work. Our standards are uncompromising. Our brand is built on detail. We're growing fast, and we're opening new sites.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A front-line revenue leadership seat in a business about to expand across new sites, and a genuine springboard for someone with ambition and drive. £50,000 to £55,000 base, plus monthly commission, with OTE of £60,000 to £65,000 on target. We've run at 97%+ occupancy across our London portfolio all year, and we're expanding into new sites to keep that momentum going. This is where you come in: leading the central sales team that keeps our buildings full, building broker relationships, converting leads and closing deals across the portfolio. You'll report directly to our Commercial Director, with two Sales Administrators to lead, coach and develop. You'll be based day-to-day at one of our London sites, with occasional moves across the portfolio to keep things varied. We're not looking for someone from the serviced office industry. We're looking for the right person. The brokers, the product, the commercial mechanics, all of it can be taught. Personality, energy and character cannot. This is a leadership seat with room to run.
What You'll Own
- Leading the central sales team, coaching and developing the Sales Administrators.
- Building and maintaining broker and agent relationships across the portfolio, holding regular reviews with top brokerages to keep lead flow high.
- Owning lead-to-viewing conversion and driving direct-lead growth.
- Creating and delivering sales strategies aligned to targets and emerging opportunities.
- Working alongside the field sales team on event strategy and targeted campaigns.
- Owning the CRM, driving efficiency improvements and accurate reporting to senior leadership.
- Aligning sales efforts with wider business goals, working closely across teams.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement, refining processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For
We hire based on personality and character, not sector experience. The mechanics of converting, closing and structuring a deal are real, but they are learnable. What we cannot teach is people-instinct, drive, and the kind of warmth that earns trust fast. If you're a natural leader, hungry to succeed, and ready to be coached, we can build the rest with you.
- Proven track record leading and developing a sales team.
- Strong track record hitting individual and team targets.
- Enjoys building relationships face-to-face, whether that's a broker lunch or a boardroom meeting.
- Comfortable owning CRM data and producing performance reports for senior leadership.
- Wants to be part of an industry-leading team maintaining 97%+ occupancy, and pushing it further as we grow.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Comfortable juggling broker relationships, team coaching and CRM reporting without dropping the ball.
- Marketing or event management experience is a plus, not essential.
And three things we can't train:
- Positive Attitude. Positively responsive, we serve attentively, and always with a smile.
- Problem Solving. Genuinely thoughtful, we look at every problem from the client's point of view.
- Above and Beyond. Devoted to deliver, we take ownership, responsibility, and are empowered to make decisions.
WHY AMBITIOUS PEOPLE JOIN US
- A business that invests in leadership. Ambitious people perform best when given ownership, trust and the room to grow.
- Influence at a senior level. Our leaders shape strategy and work directly with executive leadership and the board.
- A high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Pace, accountability and ambition, inside a collaborative, people-focused culture.
- Opportunity across every division. We're growing across all divisions, and we promote from within, so the room to rise is real.
What's In It For You
- Base salary £50,000 to £55,000 plus monthly commission, £60,000 to £65,000 OTE.
- Expensed client entertainment, think top London restaurants, not sandwich meal deals.
- Regular team-building events, celebrating wins together.
- Mentorship from senior leadership.
- Fast-track opportunities for top performers to progress.
- A fantastic pension scheme.
- Employee Assistance Programme, round-the-clock support.
- Free access to wellbeing programmes.
- Personal season travel ticket loan.
