UK and European Sales Manager / International Sales Manager / Wholesale Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced UK and European Sales Manager / International Sales Manager / Wholesale Sales Manager to drive the growth of our client’s commercial luxury womenswear brand across the UK and Europe.
This is a hands-on sales role for someone who knows the commercial branded womenswear market, has strong relationships with major European retailers and online fashion accounts, and most importantly, personally sells and opens new accounts.
We are NOT looking for a traditional luxury salesperson. The brand is a luxury brand positioned at a more accessible Tier 3 commercial/full-price level, targeting the right department stores, online fashion retailers, wholesale accounts and independents.
The Opportunity
You will take an active role in developing the brand’s distribution across Europe and the UK, personally driving new business while coordinating the wider sales activity around the brand.
The role will include:
- Personally selling and opening new accounts across the UK and Europe
- Developing relationships with major department stores, online fashion retailers and independents
- Targeting accounts at the level of Zalando, ASOS, John Lewis and House of Fraser
- Building and developing the European customer base and distribution network
- Identifying new markets, customers and commercial opportunities
- Contributing to the European sales plan, target account strategy, route to market and distribution strategy
- Managing and developing existing customer relationships
- Coordinating agents and other sales resources working on the brand
- Working closely with senior management on commercial opportunities, pricing, positioning and customer development
- Maintaining regular contact with customers and actively driving opportunities through to orders

What We Are Looking For
You should be a hands-on womenswear sales professional with a strong track record of personally generating business rather than purely managing a sales team or existing accounts.
Of particular interest:
- Strong experience in branded womenswear wholesale sales
- Genuine relationships with European retailers and distributors
- Experience selling to major online fashion accounts and department stores
- Relationships with accounts comparable to Zalando, ASOS, John Lewis and House of Fraser
- Proven experience opening new accounts and developing new territories
- Good understanding of European fashion distribution and different markets
- Experience developing both major accounts and independent wholesale business
- Commercial understanding of full-price branded fashion
- Ability to contribute to sales strategy while remaining personally active in selling
- Comfortable coordinating agents and other sales resources
- Experience across activewear, athleisure, loungewear, sleepwear, swimwear or related womenswear categories would be particularly relevant.
