Role Description
The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Market Harborough. The Sales Manager will lead sales activities for Elite Thermal Systems’ product portfolio, including furnaces, ovens, and thermal analyzers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. - Identifying new business opportunities
- Nurturing existing client relationships
- Preparing quotations and proposals
- Coordinating demonstrations and technical discussions with internal engineering teams
The Sales Manager will analyse market trends, develop sales strategies, and maintain accurate forecasts and reports in the CRM system. This role also involves collaborating with operations and customer service to ensure timely delivery, high satisfaction, and continuous improvement in sales processes.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B sales and account management skills, ideally within industrial equipment, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability in new business development, lead generation, and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to understand specifications and translate them into customer-focused solutions.
- Ability to prepare accurate quotations, commercial proposals, and sales reports using CRM and standard office software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric and consultative approach.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
- Comfort working on-site in Market Harborough and visiting customer locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in thermal processing or related technologies is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support sales activities, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
