Sales Manager | Martech (SaaS) | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Up to £55k base | Comms + profit share
About the Company:
A well-established SaaS business in the marketing space, helping organisations understand and prove the ROI.
- A small, but scaling team, where individual contribution genuinely moves the needle, not a place to hide in a big machine.
- Strong partner and channel model sits alongside direct new business, giving you more than one route to hit target.
- Backed by a stable, growing client base and a leadership team that wants someone to come in, own their number, and help shape how the sales function scales next.
About the Role:
- You'll own new business generation end to end, from prospecting through to contract and onboarding, not picking up warm inbound that's already been qualified for you.
- You'll manage and grow existing accounts alongside new logo activity, working closely with marketing and customer success to keep the pipeline healthy.
- You'll have at least one direct report, so this is a genuine player-coach role. Expect 1:1s, performance conversations, and helping someone else hit their number too.
- You'll build and develop the partner and channel side of the business, this model is central to how the company grows.
- You'll forecast properly, based on real pipeline activity, and you'll be comfortable talking through the numbers plainly, the hits and the misses.
- You'll present pitches and proposals to senior stakeholders and hold your own in commercial negotiations.
- You'll have real input into how the sales approach evolves, this is not a role where you're just handed a script.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
