About the Role
InterSystems UK is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales Manager with proven healthcare solutions sales and account management experience to join our established and high-performing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding the footprint of InterSystems’ market-leading healthcare solutions across London and the South East, working with both NHS and Private healthcare organisations.
The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding strategic relationships across the territory, with a primary focus on:
- TrakCare – our leading Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platform
- HealthShare – our advanced interoperability and shared care record solution
You will identify, develop, and close new opportunities while strengthening long-term partnerships with existing customers. This role requires a highly credible and consultative sales professional capable of engaging at executive level and articulating complex digital transformation strategies aligned to customer objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy across NHS and Private healthcare providers in London and the South East
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for TrakCare, HealthShare, and related InterSystems healthcare solutions
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives (CIO, CCIO, CFO, COO, CMIO, etc.)
- Understand customer challenges and strategic priorities, positioning InterSystems solutions to deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial value
- Lead the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract negotiation and close
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Clinical, Technical, and Executive teams to deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Manage and grow existing accounts, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Represent InterSystems at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements

Additional Requirements
- Willingness and flexibility for regular national travel
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the UK healthcare landscape
- Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organisation
Experience and Qualifications
- Excellent listening, written, and communication skills
- 7+ years software solutions sales to the UK National Health Service
- Experience using AI tools and data-driven insights to improve sales efficiency, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales outcomes.
- Proven ability to engage at C level and proven sales success
- Ability to develop and leverage existing relationships with NHS trusts, ICSs, CCGs, CSUs with both clinical and technical stakeholders
- Experience of selling clinical and administrative application software to healthcare end users.
- A strong team player, working with sales, clinical, and technical co-workers to put-together solutions that meet the customer needs
- Proven ability to present effectively at board level.
- A genuine interest and technical curiosity for software in the healthcare sector
