Sales Manager

Berkshire | Hybrid – 3 days/week
£100,000 OTE (£55k base + highly achievable variable) + strong benefits

About the Role

Certus Recruitment is partnering with a growing technology company to hire a people-first Sales Manager who will own retention, renewals, and expansion across a solid customer base.

In this role you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop an existing team of Account Managers
  • Drive renewals and expansion revenue (upsell/cross-sell)
  • Improve account planning and proactive customer engagement
  • Use CRM and performance data to spot growth opportunities and churn risk
  • Run effective 1:1s, coaching sessions, and development plans
  • Improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, and sales discipline
  • Identify process, automation, and productivity improvements
  • Manage performance and support the team through change

You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' B2B sales experience (SaaS/software/technology, business services, HR, training, or L&D)
  • A track record of driving retention, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills
  • Experience using CRM and data to drive commercial decisions
  • Strong forecasting and performance management capability
  • Confidence coaching salespeople through live opportunities and customer conversations
  • Experience managing hybrid sales teams
